Saipem inks $370 million in contracts

Italian contractor Saipem has won a string of contracts worth a total US$370 million. 

Eni Angola has awarded Saipem additional work orders for the West Hub Development project offshore Angola.

The work, which will be performed by Saipem's E&C Offshore division, cover the construction and installation in deep waters of umbilicals, risers and flowlines in the West Hub development Block 15/06, 350km north west of Luanda. 

Under its maintenance, modifications and operations (MMO) activities, has also won a contract with Eni Ghana Exploration & Production for the engineering, procurement and construction of the infrastructures needed to boost the capacity of the gas stations in the vicinity of the ports of Takoradi and Tema in Ghana.

Saipem has also won a contract from Nord Stream 2 for the construction of the last section of the pipeline crossing the Baltic Sea and the shore approach in Greiswald, Germany.
