Arctic LNG 2 Project on Track for 2023 Output Start, Mitsui CFO

The Arctic LNG 2 project in Russia is on track to start production of the first train in 2023, Mitsui & Co Ltd Chief Financial Officer Tetsuya Shigeta said on Tuesday. 

The Japanese trading house intends to stay in the Sakhalin-2 gas and oil project as well as the [Arctic LNG 2] while complying with sanctions by Western nations on Russia, to contribute to Japan's energy security, Shigeta told a news conference.
