SeaBird awarded Gulf of Guinea contract

SeaBird Exploration Plc has been awarded a contract for a 3D seismic survey in Gulf of Guinea, West Africa for the vessel Geo Pacific.

The survey will cover a minimum of 1450sq km and will have an estimated value of approximately US$11 million. The project is expected to start during mid Q3 2014 and will have an estimated duration of 78 days.

This month, SeaBird announced awarded surveys offshore Ireland and the Gulf Mexico.
