Petrobras halts production of Marlim Sul

Brazil's state-run oil company Petroleo Brasileiro stopped production from its P-40 platform in the offshore Marlim Sul field after a gas leak was discovered, reports Reuters Africa.

Reuters quoted Petrobras’ statement that the leak was quickly controlled. According to ANP, the Marlim Sul field was the sixth-largest producing field in Brazil.
