Shearwater Wins Seismic Survey Gig in Med

Norwegian offshore seismic service provider Shearwater GeoServices Holding has been awarded a 3D seismic survey in the Eastern Mediterranean.

The one-month survey would be executed in the fourth quarter of 2019, the global provider of 3D marine seismic data acquisition.

The survey will be executed using one of Shearwater’s highest capacity seismic vessels, with a 14-streamer configuration.

“Shearwater has a long track record in the region, and we are pleased to return for this survey”, said Irene Waage Basili, the CEO of Shearwater GeoServices. “Our high-capacity seismic vessels enable efficient surveys which combined with the scale and flexibility of our fleet, have yielded a significant increase in utilization this year.”
