C-Kore Systems announced it has been honored with The Queen’s Awards for Enterprise, in the Innovation category.

The company welcome two Deputy Lord Lieutenants of North Yorkshire, David Kerfoot MBE DL and Trevor Watson JP DL, to its offices near York. Following a tour and demonstration of C-Kore’s equipment the formal Queen’s Award presentation took place.

Reading the citation on behalf of HM Queen Elizabeth II, Trevor Watson JP DL proclaimed that “recognizing the outstanding achievement demonstrated in the application of Innovation, C-Kore Systems have been given permission to fly the authorized (Queen’s) Award flag and to display the Award emblem for a period of 5 years”. The emblem has been recognized by both existing and prospective customers as a mark of distinction.

After the event David Kerfoot MBE DL, and Chairman of the Local Enterprise Partnership of North Yorkshire, commented, “The one thing that really came across to me was the enthusiasm and passion of the people C-Kore employs. Everyone I spoke to was committed and importantly clearly enjoyed what they did from day to day. This is a testament to the way the company is run and shows how motivated people can really make a difference to a company’s success.”

Tim Overfield, Managing Director of C-Kore Systems said, “This is such a tribute to all our hard work. We have a great team who are dedicated to developing and delivering truly innovative technology to the Oil & Gas market. C-Kore products are now recognized worldwide as must have pieces of equipment to bring significant cost savings and safety improvements to any offshore campaign.”

Having also received the Innovation & Technology Award at Subsea UK’s awards ceremony in Aberdeen in February, combined with continually increasing trade and the launch of the new C-Kore Sensor Monitor, C-Kore reports that 2019 has been its busiest year to date.
