Geoquip Saentis Completes 1st Job in North Sea

Switzerland-based geotechnical data acquisition company Geoquip Marine said that its DP2 multi-purpose offshore support vessel, the Geoquip Saentis, has completed its first geotechnical campaign in the North Sea.

Operations involved drilling over 2000 meters and acquiring more than 1400 high quality samples and over 900 meters of seismic PCPT data.

The project was completed safely and on time, said a press note from the provider of offshore and nearshore site investigations and geophysical surveys.

Geoquip Saentis  is currently crossing the Atlantic to her next geotechnical site investigation in North America.

The Geoquip Saentis is a 2005 build, DP2 vessel, specially designed for offshore support and ROV services in harsh weather conditions. In early 2019, she went through a massive overhaul and has been commissioned to conduct offshore geotechnical operations.
