Shipbuilding Timelapse: Wind of Change

A timelapse video shows Louis Dreyfus Armateurs Group’s (LDA) first service operation vessel dedicated to the maintenance of offshore wind farms for the Danish giant Ørsted under construction at the CEMRE shipyard in Turkey.

The new vessel, Wind of Change, is presently undergoing the final phase of construction before final delivery in early 2019. It will be operated for Ørsted and will allow technicians to perform turbine maintenance at the Borkum Riffgrund 1 & 2 and Gode Wind 1 & 2 wind farms off Germany.
