New COO for Polarcus

Polarcus Limited is pleased to announce the appointment of Mr. Duncan Eley as Chief Operating Officer  of the Company. 

Effective May 01, 2013, Mr. Eley will assume the position of COO and head the Company's three business lines; Sales and Marketing, Multi-Client and Marine Acquisition, together with the EHSQ and Information Technology support departments. The establishment of this position is part of the natural development of the Polarcus organization and will provide greater alignment across the business lines in respect of the financial, efficient and safe operation of the Company.

Mr. Eley has extensive experience within the marine seismic industry, including 10 years with WesternGeco supporting marine seismic operations globally. Mr. Eley is currently Senior Vice President of Marine Acquisition at Polarcus.

Mr. Eley will also continue in the role of Senior Vice President of Marine Acquisition whilst a replacement is secured.
