P-74Brazil's Petrobras awarded Toyo Engineering Corp. affiliate, Estaleiros do Brasil Ltda. (EBR), an EPCI contract for its P-74 FPSO, Toyo announced on 13 May 2013.

The contract was awarded by Petrobras Netherlands BV. The scope includes the engineering and procurement of equipment and materials, and the manufacturing and installation of topsides units for the P-74 FPSO, which is to be deployed in the Franco 1 area pre-salt, in the Santos basin, in 2016.

EBR is a jointly owned Brazilian company by Toyo Engineering Corp. and SOG - Óleo e Gás S.A.

EBR is primarily engaged in EPCI related to offshore facilities and is constructing yard facilities in Estado de Rio Grande do Sul in the southernmost part of Brazil. The yard facilities will be used to assemble the topsides modules and to integrate them on the hull.

Petrobras announced in April that the P-74 FPSO will be the first platform completed for the Transfer of Rights pre-salt fields. The P-74 will be capable of producing up to 150,000 b/d and of compressing 7MMcm/d of natural gas.
