Petrobras, Endeeper enter software development contract

Published

Endeeper and Petrobras entered into a two-year contract for provision of services related to Endeeper's software package for petroleum geology.

The contract allows the development of new modules for Petroledge, Hardledge and RockViewer systems in addition to software training.

Endeeper’s software is used by Petrobras to optimize the geological analysis process and for sharing information stored in its corporate database.

Endeeper says requests for new features are collected from Petrobras' research units and developed with Endeeper's software libraries. Service provider companies have also adopted these systems to ensure compliance with the quality criteria required by Petrobras. The systems allow sending data packets directly to the corporate database, eliminating errors and increasing efficiency of the analysis process.

Petrobras and Wood Group Kenny recently entered into two contracts worth more than US$2 million for subsea projects.
