Zennor Petroleum’s subsidiary Zennor Pathway has spudded an appraisal well at its Finlaggan discovery in the Central North Sea.

Well 21/5c-7, spudded on 5 April, is being drilled with Transocean Sedco 704 semisubmersible drilling rig. The well is located in license P2013.

Finlaggan has an estimated gross mean gas condensate reserves of 27 MMboe in the Lower Cretaceous.

A drill stem test is also planned, with a view to a fast track development, Zennor said.
