Proserv bags Gullfaks equipment deal

Statoil has awarded Proserv a multimillion-dollar contract to provide production control equipment for its Gullfaks project in the North Sea.

Upon the terms of the agreement, Proserv will supply five wellhead hydraulic power units for the field. The design, manufacture and supply will be carried out by Proserv’s specialist engineering and project teams in Stavanger, Norway.

“This is a significant win for the company that highlights the strength of our technical and engineering expertise as well as our market-leading status for the provision of surface production systems and services,” Henrik Johnson, Proserv regional president for Scandinavia said.
