Aker BP to tieback Oda to Ula

Published

Norway’s Petroleum Safety Authority (PSA) has granted Aker BP consent to connect the Oda field to the Ula field.

The Centrica Resources-operated Oda field will be developed as a subsea facility tied back to the Ula field, where Aker BP is the operator.

The Oda field is in the southern part of Norwegian sector of the North Sea. Oda was discovered in 2011, and the plan for development and operation (PDO) for the field was submitted to the authorities in November 2016.

Production is scheduled to begin in Q3 2019.
