eDrilling releases eDrilling8

eDrilling, a provider of drilling and well performance solutions, has released eDrilling8, the new version of their software platform for planning, training, drilling, analysis, and learning to reduce non-productive time (NPT).

eDrilling8 includes both improvements to existing functionalities (user experiences, simplicity, etc.) and introduces new applications opening up for using eDrilling technology in new areas (well control evaluation, geosteering, dual gradient drilling, nitrogen cap drilling, etc.).

“As a part of our broader ambition to drill the perfect well, we are on a mission to make our technologies all-encompassing, user-friendly, secure, and intelligent, to help our customers save cost, improve safety, and increase efficiency of drilling operations,” said Sven Inge Ødegård, COO of eDrilling.

eDrilling8 is being presented during the ONS 2016 technical sessions, under the umbrella “Technology quantum leaps in the oil and gas industry.”
