Valemon topside arrival

Statoil released a video showing the Valemon topside arriving on 26 July 2014 near Stavanger, Norway after a 40-day trip from South Korea.

The topsides set sail in June from the Geoje yard in South Korea, where Statoil contracted Samsung Heavy Industiries in May 2014 to build the topsides. On board the heavy transport vessel, Dockwise Triumph, thejourney continued to the Valemon field in the North Sea, where the topsides were lifted into place on the 9150-tonne steel jacket on 28 July.
