Alderley Systems, a subsidiary of Alderley Group, has been awarded a contract by Maersk Oil Danish Business Unit to supply two fiscal oil metering systems with master metering. The measured oil will then be exported via a pipeline to Fredericia.

One metering system will consist of 3 x 50% 600lb coriolis meter runs and another will consists of 2 x 100% 600lb coriolis meter runs.  Both metering systems will have the ability to crossover to a master coriolis meter run and will be provided with the associated control systems.

Jim Gray, Sales Director, Alderley Systems, says: “We are pleased to add this installation to the other 20 packages we have supplied to the Danish sector.”

The metering and control systems will be engineered, manufactured and tested at Alderley’s Gloucestershire facilities. Due to the space of the Gorm E Platform the systems will utilize a special design concept, which has been developed with Maersk Oil.

Alderley Systems specializes in the engineering, supply, operation and aftermarket support of bespoke metering and control systems to the oil and gas industry.
