Rob Fisher (centre) has joined Senergy Development Solutions (SDS), the fast-evolving engineering and project management group established in Aberdeen last August. Previously with Technip, he joins fellow directors Stuart McAuley (left) and Murray Douglas (right) at SDS and is tasked with underpinning and leading its subsea, pipeline and construction management business. Fisher worked for Technip for 14 years, latterly as its UK business unit project manager responsible for managing complex subsea project delivery. His latest assignments included Total’s Islay project in the northern North Sea, brought onstream last month, which featured the first subsea implementation of Technip’s reelable, electrically trace heated pipe-in-pipe technology to prevent blockages by hydrates and wax deposition (OE December 2011).
