Published

After Macondo people are more conscious about the risks that exist and are looking for technology to help. The workforce culture has changed a lot and hazards are being indentified. We as a company train for hazard identification. After Piper Alpha, the culture changed in the North Sea. We will work safe before we work quicker. In the Gulf of Mexico there are similar approaches, but it is not as ingrained. Culturally, there is a bit of a shift.

Mike Neill, US President, Petrotechnics
