Pemex unloads more than 11MMbo in Progreso, Yucatan

On September 9, Petróleos Mexicanos (Pemex) reported that between January and August 2013, the company unloaded a total of 11.1MMbo to satisfy the market needs of two regions in Mexico: the northern Quintana Roo area and the Yucatan.

Of the 11.1M total barrels, 5.1M were Pemex Magna, an 87 octane, regular unleaded fuel; 3.3M were Pemex Diesel; 800,000 were Pemex Premium gasoline, a 92 octane, regular unleaded fuel; and 1.9 million bbl were jet fuel, all unloaded at an average of 46,000 b/d.

Anchored at Pemex’s dock in Progreso throughout the eight-month operation were nine tankers: Bicentenario; Mariano Abasolo; Burgos; Ignacio Allende; Corrido; Seto Express; Calypso; NCC Najem; and the Cavatina.
