Ceona awards NCS Survey subsea contract

Published

Ceona awarded NCS Survey Ltd. a five-year contract for positioning services, in which mobilization has been successfully completed on the first vessel, Ceona’s DP3 multi-purpose vessel, the Normand Pacific.

Following initial work in the Gulf of Mexico, NCS Survey will be supporting Ceona for further subsea work in Nigeria at the Abo and Oyo fields.

Earlier this month, CAMAC Energy discovered four new oil and gas reservoirs during drilling on an Oyo field development well in OML 120 offshore Nigeria.  Drilling began on 15 June.

In May, CAMAC awarded Ceona a contract for work in the Oyo field offshore Nigeria. The Oyo Phase One expansion project includes installation and recovery of umbilical and flexible pipe and light subsea construction in water to 500m deep.
