ONS: AGR bags NCS contracts

Published

AGR has been awarded software contracts with Det norske oljeselskap, VNG (Norge) and OMV (Norge) worth in total about US$1 million.

AGR will be delivering its bespoke software products P1, CT and iQˣ, which has been shortlisted for the ONS Innovation Award, to support operators’ activities on Norwegian Continental Shelf.

iQˣ is a new addition to the AGR software portfolio and has been developed to simplify the planning and execution of wells. The software utilises technical and operational public data from over 6,000 wells drilled on the Norwegian Continental Shelf.  P1 is a probabilistic planning tool for managing time and risk of well operations. Meanwhile, CT acts as a real-time cost tracker enabling operational managers to accurately track the financial status of their projects.

The ONS Innovation Award was established to recognise the fact that the future of the international oil, gas and energy industry depends increasingly on its ability to develop new technologies and solutions.
