Bibby Offshore is currently participating in a number of projects in the Norwegian Continental Shelf. The company is setting its focus on expanding its existing services to offshore operators in the region and utilizing already established relationships with UKCS divisions of many operators.

Arne Lier will head the Norwegian office and will join them team on 1 September 2014. He is leading the recruitment of additional key positions for the Norway office with a goal to increase the team to 30 in 2015.

Lier has extensive oil and gas experience from an international career focused on offshore inspection, repair and maintenance, construction and marine operations, including the role of senior subsea engineer for Statoil. More recently, Lier has held several executive roles including CEO of Norfield AS and managing director of Gulfmark Norge AS. He is currently a non-executive director of Simon Møkster Shipping and has previously been a non-executive director for AGR Group.
