This acquisition broadens AFGlobal’s the products and services within the company’s connectors and sealing technologies business unit. AFGlobal’s position in deepwater production is further augmented with the inclusion of VerdErg’s field proven diverless connection solutions for jumpers, pipelines, production risers, umbilicals, repair and ROV tooling, as well as direct management of the fabrication, system integration, maintenance support and aftermarket care.

“The advantage for our clients is that we can now offer systems—from diver-assisted bolted connections to topside flanges and fittings to advanced deepwater diverless connection solutions—supporting an entire project from one source,” says Gean Stalcup, president and CEO.

VerdErg’s main office is located in Woking, Surrey. The company also has an assembly and testing facility near Liverpool, England. VerdErg was established in 1979.
