Ceona, MPL win double Nigerian contracts

Ceona and Marine Platforms Ltd. (MPL) were awarded two contracts in Nigeria worth a total of US$30 million.

Ceona will provide vessels and its installation expertise on the Eni Nigerian Agip Exploration Ltd. ABO12 well completion, as well as supporting MPL on the Sea Eagle floating production storage and offloading unit on behalf of Shell Petroleum Development Co.

Engineering has already started on the ABO12 project with the full scope of work involving the installation of flexibles, umbilicals and a PLEM suction pile system. Offshore work is planned for February 2015.
