Eirik Raude arrives at Falklands

Ocean Rig’s Eirik Raude arrived in the North Falkland basin off the Falkland Islands and will be moved to begin drilling the first well, according to Rockhopper Exploration.  

The six-well drilling campaign on the Zebedee prospect will include two wells to be drilled in the North Falkland basin, then one to the south of the islands, followed by two more in the north and a final slot in the south.

Operatorship of the drilling campaign is split between Premier Oil and Noble Energy.
