AGR has been awarded a well engineering and operational support services contract with DEA Norge.

The contract covers support in well planning and operational execution and consultancy manpower to DEA’s drilling projects on the Norwegian continental shelf (NCS). The contract includes HSEQ and environmental services in addition to well planning, project execution and post well reporting assistance.

The agreement duration is for three years with the option of extending the contract for two further years.

AGR has delivered well management project support on the NCS for DEA since 2009, most recently on the Titan Appraisal and Atlas wells in PL 420.

Sjur Talstad, AGR’s Executive Vice President, Norway and Russia, said, “We are honored that DEA has awarded our Well Management and Consultancy teams this latest agreement. AGR has enjoyed a positive working relationship with DEA and we look forward to providing continued support on drilling projects in addition to our existing collaboration within reservoir and facilities management.”

Since 2003, AGR has delivered over 80 well projects on behalf of 19 operators on the NCS and over 500 well projects internationally.
