LQT awarded two accommodation projects

LQT Industries, LLC has been awarded two projects to upgrade and refurbish single lift accommodations that house a total of 320 personnel on a drillship and a semisubmersible located in the Gulf of Mexico.

LQT’s scope of work includes site inspection, work scope development, material procurement, project management, and the provision of skilled labor to remodel, refurbish, and upgrade the living areas of the facilities. The projects are scheduled to be completed in 2015.

LQT’s Refurbishment Division, headquartered in Abbeville, Louisiana US, specializes in full facility upgrades, asset maintenance, and 24/7 customer support for oil and gas operations.

LQT Industries, LLC, located along the U.S. Gulf Coast, designs, manufactures, and refurbishes buildings for applications such as accommodations, motor control centers (MCC’s), E Houses, and many specialty building applications. LQT also rents construction equipment for oilfield, emergency response, and remote workforce applications.
