bpTT's Juniper subsea tree delivery

In this video, BP shows the delivery of its five subsea trees required for the Juniper project offshore Trinidad and Tobago.

The subsea trees, which weigh 76-tonne each, were delivered on using an Antonov 124 cargo aircraft. The trees were built with materials from Singapore, Malaysia, US, UK, Ireland, Italy, and Germany.

The Juniper project is bpTT’s first subsea field development, located 50mi off the south east coast of Trinidad.

The Juniper project will take gas from the Corallita and Lantana fields, and have a production capacity of approximately 590 MMcf/d of gas, with first gas from the facility expected in 2017. Gas from Juniper will flow to the Mahogany B hub via a new 10km flowline.

Drilling commenced in 2015 and first gas from the facility is expected in 2017. The completions activity currently in progress on all five wells will take place by Q4 2016.
