Well intervention provider Altus Intervention, a subsidiary of Norway's Qinterra, has secured a long-term frame agreement with Statoil for the delivery of mechanical wireline services.
The total duration of the agreement, including options, is 10 years and with an estimated value of US$140,000 (NOK 1.200 million).
The agreement, secured by the Altus Intervention team, involves provision of mechanical wireline and fishing services, as well as cased hole logging and tractor conveyance as optional services. A total of 16 fixed installations, Gina Krog, Grane, Gudrun, Heidrun, Heimdal, Johan Sverdrup, Kvitebjørn, Oseberg (B, C, H, East and South), Troll, Valemon, Veslefrikk og Visund, will be covered by the agreement. The start of the agreement will be 1 February 2017.
