Aqualis appoints new Middle East director

Marine and offshore engineering consultancy Aqualis Offshore has appointed Ben Lazenby as director of the company’s Middle East operation, succeeding Reuben Segal, who will now concentrate fully on his role as chief operating officer of Aqualis Offshore. 

With 25 years’ experience in the maritime offshore industry, Lazenby’s specialist areas of competence are marine operations, rig moving and marine warranty, and has conducted more than 300 rig moves as tow master or marine warranty surveyor. 

Lazenby will be based out of Aqualis Offshore’s regional headquarters in Dubai, UAE. In addition, he will oversee the operations of the company’s other offices in the region: Abu Dhabi, UAE; Manama, Bahrain; Doha, Qatar; and Dammam, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
