Apply Leirvik inks Peregrino II LQ

Statoil has awarded Apply Leirvik a US$48 million (NOK 400 million) contract for the delivery of the living quarters module for the Peregrino II Platform in the Campos Basin offshore Brazil.

The contract includes delivery of a five floor accommodation module with a total area of 2600sq m, a capacity of 120 beds, recreation areas, change rooms, helicopter deck, lifeboats and other facilities required for operation of an offshore hotel. 

Engineering work will begin immediately, with delivery set for Q3 2019. 

Apply Leirvik  says that this is the first complete delivery of an aluminum module from its yard at Stord to the international market, and is an important step in further development for the company.

The engineering and planning work for the Peregrino II project will start immediately.
