Chevron’s Erskine field is back up and running offshore the UK, following maintenance work at Shell’s Lomond, according to partner Serica Energy.

Erskine field restarted at the end of last week and the field has produced continuously over the weekend, Serica said.

Production was first set to restart in mid-September, however, Shell had not fully completed repairs at the Lomond platform.

Erskine is about 150mi (241km) east of Aberdeen, Scotland in the Central North Sea, in water depths of about 296ft (90m).

Erskine is operated by Chevron North Sea with 50% interest. Partners include Shell (32%) and Serica Energy (18%).
