Mike Bowyer was presented with Oil & Gas UK’s prestigious 2012 award for services to safety last month in recognition of his many years supporting the North Sea’s Step Change in Safety initiative. As co-chair of its workforce engagement steering group, he has been instrumental in bringing to fruition a pioneering workforce engagement practical guide and survey tool due to be rolled out later in the year.
