Offshore access solutions provider Ampelmann has opened an office in Dubai, its second in the Middle East, in a move aimed at further expansion in the region.

The new office will be manned by Tim Mulders as Business Developer, who will serve the regional market together with Ampelmann's team already established Doha.

“This newly-manned UAE office will give clients the chance to meet face-to-face with Tim on short notice and at their convenience,” said Jayne Moran, Sales and Business Development Manager for the Middle East & Caspian regions.

“Tim has been with the company for the past five years and is an experienced project manager with a good understanding of what clients require. Moving him into a business development role in the UAE will enable Ampelmann to be closer to its clients and provide the regional support that they need.”

Mulders said, “The new office shows how committed Ampelmann is to the Middle East and the UAE, in particular. It will allow the company to increase its level of service with an in-country presence.”

Ampelmann said it is seeing growing demand for walk-to-work (W2W) services, and noted it is currently enabling multiple crew change campaigns, including two with vessel owner Caspian Marine Services.
