Ocean Rig gets extension, new contract

Ocean Rig received a one-year extension from Eni Angola S.p.A for the Poseidon drillship that will last until 2Q 2017, with total contract backlog now standing at about US$367 million.

Ocean Rig also entered into a new contract for the Olympia drillship to drill offshore Angola commencing in 3Q 2015 for a minimum of eight months, with a total contract backlog of about $91 million.
