Brazil's state-run oil firm Petrobras has launched an auction to sell two old offshore platforms no longer in production for sustainable recycling, the firm said on Friday.

Platforms P-19 and P-26 will be sold separately, said the firm, adding that together they contain about 40,000 tons of steel. The firm has previously sold two old platforms to steelmaker Gerdau.
