Offshore vessel supplier Eidesvik Offshore has secured a long-term charter for one of its platform supply vessels.

The Norwegian company said Monday its 2003-built PSV Viking Energy had secured a five-year time charter with Equinor.

Equinor will have options to extend the charter further.

The new contract for the 94,9 meters long vessel will start in direct continuation of the current contract ending April 2020.
