SeaBird Scoops Two Contract Extensions

Marine seismic surveyor SeaBird Exploration announced Thursday it has secured extensions for two existing contracts.

The contract for the 2D/3D shallow water vessel Voyager Explorer, which is working on an ocean bottom node survey in the Far East, has been extended by approximately 90 days until March 2019, with an option for another 30 day extension.

The 2D long offset/source vessel Osprey Explorer, which is working on an ocean bottom node survey in the the Gulf of Mexico, had its contract extended from initially 60 days to currently approximately 180 days. Following the completion of this contract expected in early March 2019, the Osprey will immediately commence on a previously announced ocean bottom node survey in the same region with expected completion in mid-April 2019.
