Subsea services and technology products company Cortez Subsea has announced plans for further growth in 2013 with three new appointments reflecting recent business success.
Cortez Subsea was established in 2010 and achieved turnover of over £3 million in 2012. Its recent move to a new office facility, which can accommodate up to forty people, highlights its success and appetite for further growth.

Pamela Miller joins Cortez as sales and marketing coordinator from a successful marketing career in the motoring industry. In 2009, her talents saw her win best car launch out of 256 Volkswagen branches for the launch of the Volkswagen Polo.
Anthony Moss is a qualified Chartered Accountant who has previously worked at Andersen, Ernst & Young and most recently, Clydesdale Bank in Aberdeen. As finance manager, Anthony will work closely with the other members of the senior management team to support the future strategic growth and development of Cortez.
Pipelines and installations operations manager Charlie Hughes has spent more than 20 years in the oil and gas industry, most recently with C.S.L. and Subsea7.
Cortez Subsea provides a range of subsea services and products in installation, inspection, intervention and decommissioning to UK and international clients in the offshore energy industry.
The company works in collaboration with DeepTech Oil Services, Offshore Technology Solution Ltd (Trinidad), and MCS (Egypt) to provide a broad range of specialties to its clients.
Mr Cowie said, “More than 40% of UK production is now via subsea systems. To ensure the North Sea remains a buoyant and competitive region for operators in a competitive, global market, we believe collaboration is essential. The application of new technology in subsea projects can enable the UK’s oil and gas reserves to be extracted more cost effectively.
