N-Sea is to carry out subsea support for Cecon in the Dutch sector of the North Sea later this year.

Under a contract for Cecon, N-Sea will perform survey and ROV-based construction support services as part of work to install four gas pipelines, totalling 60 km in length, for operators Wintershall and GDFSuez.

The work will be carried out in four phases: pre-lay survey, construction support, pre-commissioning services and barge positioning.

Barge positioning will be executed onboard the pipelay vessel the Lewek Centurion.

Gerard Keser, managing director says: “N-Sea is proud to be a part of this major project and enables us to further develop our presence in the survey segment and offer solutions to our customers with the latest technologies."
