German operator RWE Dea UK has agreed a five year, £40 million, contract with engineering and operations support services contractor Offshore Design Engineering (ODE) to support its southern North Sea fields.

ODE has already been working for RWE. The latest contract extends the scope of its work to include operations support services to the Cavendish, Topaz, Clipper South and Breagh fields.

Recent work by ODE includes an initial frontend engineering design for RWE’s planned Breagh Bravo platform development.

ODE was also involved in the Clipper South project, through the engineering, construction, drilling and fracking, and subsequent production, phases.

The operations support contract will be managed and coordinated from ODE’s Great Yarmouth Marine Base.
