Ramboll takes over Excel

Engineering consultancy Ramboll has acquired Houston-based Excel Engineering, giving it an entry to the US oil and gas market.

The agreement was signed in Houston by John Sørensen, managing director, Ramboll Oil & Gas and

Mostafa Jamal, president and CEO, Excel Engineering.

Excel Engineering has worked on projects globally, completing more than 1400 projects.

John Sørensen said the move would add about 50 American oil and gas experts to Ramboll's international consultancy.

Excel Engineering has been operating in the Houston oil and gas market for 20 years.
