ELF Exploration UK Ltd., an affiliate of Total E&P UK Ltd., has awarded Ocean Installer a contract for dredging services at the West Franklin field.

The work scope involves excavation/dredging services at 93 metres depth to remove the top three meters of earthwork at three drilling rig footprint locations. The project will be managed from the Ocean Installer Aberdeen office and long-term chartered construction support vessel Normand Mermaid will be utilized for the offshore work.

"We are very pleased to have been awarded our second contract with an affiliate of Total E&P UK Limited in less than six months. We are now looking forward to further developing our relationship through close cooperation on this project," says Martin Sisley, UK Managing Director of Ocean Installer.
