BG awards Tanzania pre-FEED study

Genesis Oil & Gas consultants has been awarded an upstream concept select study by BG Group, as operator of Blocks 1, 3, and 4, offshore Tanzania.

Genesis' scope of work includes considering the upstream facilities required to develop large discoveries made in the three blocks, in 1000-1800m water depths, via an onshore liquefied natural gas (LNG) plant. 

The work will also include concept selection and pre-FEED (front-end engineering and design) activities. It will be carried out in Genesis’ London Headquarters in St Paul's.
