Statoil receives world's largest LNG powered PSV

Norway’s Kleven Verft delivered the Rem Eir platform supply vessel (PSV) to Remøy Shipping for a Statoil long-term charter contract.

The Rem Eir is the world's largest environmentally friendly LNG powered PSV, measuring 92.5m in length and a deck capacity of 1080sq m. The vessel was designed by Wärtsila Ship Design.

Rem Eiris the fourth PSV delivered from Kleven this year to enter into a Statoil chart. The Rem Stadt, Rem Hrist and Rem Mist are all on multi-year charters with Statoil.
