Saipem has been awarded new engineering and construction contracts cumulatively valued at about €430 million.

The work includes a contract with Statoil, for the lift and mating operations of offshore floating wind turbines for the Hywind Scotland project.

It also covers work related to the installation of multi-phase pipelines in the Caspian Sea.

It also includes the recently announced contract for the offshore section of the Trans Adriatic Pipeline project.

Saipem pointed out that most of the recent awards were related to gas and renewables infrastructure - activities not directly impacted by the oil price.
