EM&I has been awarded a contract from an international floating production and storage offloading (FPSO) operator for diverless UWILD inspections on an FPSO due to be deployed in Angola.

The FPSO will be deployed at Block 15/06 East Hub field development, located in Angola to service the Cabaça North and Cabaça Southeast fields.

This is an important milestone being the first ODIN for this client and the first to be installed during the conversion phase in Singapore’s Keppel Shipyard, EM&I said.

This award follows a successful pre-survey conducted in Singapore in December.

“We are working closely with the client on ODIN and other asset integrity programs during the conversion in Singapore and during operations with life cycle support services through our Angolan operations,” Peter Davies, EM&I regional general manager Asia Pacific said.
