Lamprell delivered the Ensco 141 jackup drilling rig to Ensco Intercontinental GmbH.

The contract for the Ensco 141 rig was signed in April 2014 and is the second rig with the LeTourneau Super 116E (Enhanced) Class design Lamprell has delivered to the Ensco subsidiary.

The rig will be warm stacked alongside its sister rig at Lamprell's stacking facility in Hamriyah, United Arab Emirates.

Commenting on the delivery, Christopher McDonald, Lamprell CEO said: "I am pleased to be marking the completion and delivery of this rig to Ensco, one of our key clients. Our combined project team has collaborated effectively and has performed well to deliver this project while at the same time maintaining an exceptional safety record. Lamprell has demonstrated its capability to fabricate high quality, complex products for use by leading operators in the global energy industry."

The group currently has four further newbuild jackup rigs under construction at its Hamriyah facility, which are progressing as planned and will be delivered over the coming six months.
