Siem Helix 1 starts work for Petrobras

Helix Energy Solutions Group's Siem Helix 1 light well intervention vessel has started operations offshore Brazil on contract to Petrobras.

However, Helix has agreed with Petrobras to started operations at reduced day rates, as it works through certain items identified in the vessel acceptance process.

The vessel will be performing well intervention services under a multi-year contract with Brazilian oil firm.
